Plasma cutting works by forcing compressed air or gas at very high speeds through a nozzle and combining that with an electric arc. Once the electricity meets the gas, plasma (ionized gas) is created. This plasma is used to cut through the metal surface.
Plasma cutting provides accurate cuts. Our parts are within one ten-thousandth of an inch (0.0001") and are ready for welding right off the cutting machine, which reduces the amount of downstream operations to clean up the cuts.
