Sheet Metal & Flat Metal.

Metal Bending & Forming

Semi Exact invests in the best bending and forming technology to provide you the best quality, on-time and in budget.

Our electric servo-driven vertical press brakes consist of 110 Tons of bending force to bend parts up to 120” in length.

Our Euromac Digibend has a CNC backgauge as well as CNC programmable stroke to produce extremely accurate and repeatable bends in flat bar stock and sheet metal.

Horizontal Press Brake Bending Services

Sometimes designs require the material to bend back onto itself. When that happens, a horizontal press brake machine is the right tool for the job.

Our Euromac DigiBend 400 CNC machine provides 45 Tons of bending power.

Vertical Press Brake

Our vertical press brakes consist of 110 Tons of bending force to bend parts up to 120” in length. We use electric servo driven press brakes for extreme accuracy.

Our press brake has 5 axis CNC backgauges. This means setup times are dramatically reduced and we can form very complex parts with low cycle times.

Our investment into hydraulic tool clamping means we can be cost effective on both low and high volume parts and produce faster.

CNC Horizontal Press Brake

Sometimes designs require the material to bend back onto itself. This requires a horizontal press brake machine.

Bending horizontally on a flat bed allows for laying on a perfectly flat surface as well as bending a closed loop, which saves time and welding operations.

Our Euromac Digibend 400 has a CNC backgauge as well as CNC programable stroke to produce extremely accurate and repeatable bends in flat bar stock and sheet metal.
Overview

We invest in the best bending technology to provide you the best quality, on-time and in budget.

In years past, metal bending required operators with years of experience and had long setup times for new jobs and new parts.

This is not the case anymore.

Sheet Metal Bending Using a Press Brake

Once you have selected a material and determined the size of your part, it's time to create a design using CAD (and we can help with this, if needed). Once we import your CAD file into our press brake program, it allows us to check how much clamping pressure is required for each bend and set up tooling accordingly.

The press brake is a machine that is used to make sheet metal bends. The process involves pressing a punch through a die, which in turn pushes the material against the bend radius of the die. You can use this process for simple or complex bends, depending on your project.

We then focus on making sure that the right tooling is set up and review the punch and die clearance.

Tooling is the set of dies that are placed into a press brake to form metal. The punch is the part that comes in contact with the metal to create your bend. The position or angle at which these two components meet determines where and how much material will be removed from your workpiece.

Once all this is set up, we move onto the process of bending your parts...
