Our Laser Cutting Capabilities

Our high powered Cincinatti Laser uses water-cooled, high-speed linear motor drives, and HMI touchscreen control and nesting software. We cut up to 1" steel, 1/2" Aluminum, and 1/4" Stainless Steel.

Our 60" x 120" table makes fast work of large parts or batch processing smaller parts for your project.

Our collaborative quoting and engineering process starts with receiving CAD files from our customers and inspecting the designs for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA). With our manufacturing software suite, we are able to quickly determine how efficient the designs are for nesting for laser cutting.

Often small design changes can lead to big cost savings for our customers. In parallel to working on DFMA for the best materials utilization, we program parts for bending, powder coating and/or assembly.

Laser Cutting Equipment & Capabilities

We operate a Cincinnatti CL440 - 4000W CO2 Laser that is capable of cutting various materials.

Here's an overview of the capabilities:

  • Bed Size: 60" x 120" (dimensions)
  • Dual Pallet Shuttle table with simultaneous loading and unloading while the machine still cuts, increasing cutting speed and overall capacity.
  • Steel Max Thickness: 1" thick plate
  • Aluminum Max Thickness: 1/2" thick
  • Stainless Steel Max Thickness: 1/4"

Precision Cuts

When you need precision cut parts, laser cutting is the solution. Often laser cut parts are within 0.005" tolerance on most materials. Parts are cut with very minimal/no apparent rake angles and we compensate for all kerf and line offsets in your design so you don't have to worry about your parts and production.

Laser cut parts are great for complex assemblies, nested parts, and where weldment angles are critical for the end product.

Parts Produced Fast

Our laser produces your parts fast. Our Cincinatti Laser features a high-speed linear drive system, 5' x 10' shuttle table, PRC resonator and CNC control. This allows us to cut up to 12,020 inches per minute.

Efficient Cutting of Holes & Notches

If you have a product that needs a large number of holes or notches cut in it, laser cutting is an extremely efficient and cost effective way to create holes, notches, and slots in metal manufactured goods. This allows us to avoid secondary drilling and machining operations, creates more accurate parts, reduces costs, and improves quality.
